McLaren 650S - Lift System Demonstration

"In response to numerous requests to demonstrate the lift system in the McLaren 650S, here's an example showing how you can save the carbon fibre front splitter on nasty inclines with the front raising by 6cms and the rear by 4.8cm."

Nice feature - but it is a lot simpler on the Konigsegg One:1 - it's just one button to press.

Yes it must be said McLaren did do their best to make it hilariously complicated. However the flip side is having the ability to raise the entire car front and rear to properly navigate tricky areas which otherwise in these cars is a serious challenge.

Agreed, even on other brands it's just one button that does that, the only advantage is that in McLaren the lift system it's a bit more complex.

I suppose it's not something you need to do all the time, if itwas just a button on people would be complaining about an unnecessary button cluttering up the dashboard!

Good point, it really depends to where you live basically, but on big cities with many speed bumps, underground parking spaces it's used pretty often.

It's just a button on the Huracan and i like it. Not all the time but you need to use it pretty often, you know how they say: "Better safe than sorry!"

Looks quite complicated for on the move obstacles like speed bumps, the Speciale system is also just one button and pretty quick to rise.

Same single button on Lambos too. Maybe the 675LT will be different.
